Khaalid is the former Director for the City of Sacramento, California’s Office of Violence Prevention. He spearheaded the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategic plan which resulted in historic reductions in the gang and youth violence. Khaalid is also the recipient of the National Gang Crime Research Center’s Spirit Award.
