Finding a place to live and getting the support needed to maintain safe and secure housing within the community is crucial to successful reentry from prison. Without stable housing, individuals have a much harder time accessing employment, substance abuse treatment, other support services, and making or restoring connections with community resources and positive social networks. 

An essential part of the BPB Floyd program is the School of Recovery and Self-Improvement (SORASI), a substance abuse counseling and treatment program. The program's mission is to help participants recognize the consequences of the use of alcohol or drugs and modify behaviors to avoid future alcohol and drug-related problems and save lives.
